Mysterious buildings around the world: is there a connection?

When we talk about mysterious buildings, we often associate them with ancient civilizations, their culture and spiritual rites. This is the case of the famous Pyramids in Egypt.
However, pyramids do not exist only in this place. There are hundreds of pyramids around the world, built by different peoples at different times.

Some of the largest pyramids in the world are in Central America. Buildings such as the Pyramid of the Sun, for example, which is located in the Teotihuacán archaeological complex, near Mexico City, the Cholula Pyramid, near the city of Puebla, also in Central Mexico, and the Temple of the Great Jaguar, in Guatemala, are important cultural representations related to hierarchical or spiritual aspects (or both) of the peoples who lived there.

The Pyramid of the Sun, was built by a civilization that left few traces beyond the great buildings. It is the largest monument in Teotihuacán, which was one of the largest Mesoamerican pre-Hispanic cities. The name “Teotihuacán” is from Aztec origin and means “city of the gods”. Aztecs found the city already in ruins and made it the scene of some of its fundamental myths - the place was already a tourist and mystical destination before the Spanish arrived on the continent.
The Great Jaguar Temple is the tallest pyramid in the Tikal archaeological complex in Guatemala, which was one of the largest urban centers in the Mayan civilization. It is known to be a place of worship as it contains a tomb of King Jasaw Chan K’awil.

Submerged buildings: Atlantis? No, Japan!

Since 1995, japanese divers and scientists have been studying one of the most important archaeological discoveries on the planet, mysteriously ignored by the press.
In the Ryukyus archipelago, 480 km southwest of Okinawa, Japan, the waters around the island of Yonaguni hide a set of mysterious megalithic ruins. Geological studies have estimated the age of these monuments to be 11,000 years old.
Many scholars have refused to accept that these ruins are human-made buildings. The geometric shapes and very correct angles have been attributed to supposed "natural agents". However, other researchers assume that the bottom of the Yonaguni Sea is the tomb of a prosperous civilization possibly older than Sumer, Egypt, India or China.

Over more than a decade of exploration, divers had already located no fewer than eight large, man-made structures. A huge plateau over 200m long, a pyramid in the same style as the Aztecs, with 5 floors and aligned according to cardinal points, as well as a complete set of ziggurats, demarcating specific areas.
In 1997, Dr. Masaaki Kimura, a marine geology PhD, published A Continent Lost In The Pacific Ocean, in which he allegedly defended the existence of the submerged civilization.
On May 4, 1998, parts of the island and ruins were shaken by an earthquake. After the shock, underwater filming was made and found marks on the stones that supposedly show work similar to carvings. Tools and a small staircase were also found. The hypothesis of natural formation in Yonaguni was left behind.

The Face Enigma

Submerged 18 meters below the surface, there is a megalithic head, a stone face worn by the erosion of the waters that seemingly reminds the stone heads of other ancient places: Moais, in the Pacific; La Venta, Gulf of Mexico.

About 6,000 years ago, the ruins were immersed lands, linked to the continent. Rising sea levels over eons have submerged territories like those on the Yonaguni coast. There is speculation about the "identity" of civilization buried in those waters. Many speak of Atlantis, but if part of a "lost civilization" lies on the bed of that sea, was quoted as saying that it is Lemuria or Mu, even older, called by the esoterics of Third Race civilization.

Is there a connection?

As mentioned earlier, this construction submerged in the Japan’s sea appears to be aligned with the cardinal points. The pyramids in Egypt are also reportedly in the same configuration, since the alignment of the pyramids apparently corresponded to the alignment of three stars in the Orion constellation, suggesting that Giza is an architectural complex related to astronomy and, specifically, to that constellation.
The question of the location of the pyramids is intriguing because, by all accounts, their location was carefully chosen due to the geographic and cosmographic relations implicit in architecture.
Researchers at the Politecnico di Milano University in Italy suggest that dozens of ancient Chinese imperial mausoleums - that resemble pyramids - also line up precisely with astronomical points.

Published in the journal Archaeological Research in Asia, the study claims that China's ancient dynasties combined their knowledge of astronomy with Feng Shui traditions to build these structures.
Researcher Giulio Magli used satellite imagery to unravel the relationship between the emperors' mausoleums and members of the Chinese Western Han royal family. The tombs are scattered around the city of Xian along the Wei River in China.
Supposedly like the pyramids in Egypt, the Chinese emperors lined their funerary hills to the North, East, South and West. Attention to cardinal points is understandable to researchers, who consider historical beliefs: Chinese emperors believed that their power was a direct mandate from heaven. Along with this, they used Feng Shui traditions to organize objects. In addition, these constructions are allegedly aligned with the Gemini constellation.

Likewise, the Angkor Ruins in Cambodia are aligned with the Dragon constellation. The great lion-faced sphinx in Egypt, the constellation Leo; the ruins of the Sacred Valley in Peru represent the Milky Way, and the great constructions of humanity, such as Easter Island, Tenochtitlán, Nazca Lines, among others, are actually much more than megalithic constructions, they are star maps. Are these buildings a great star network? Called “navels of the world”, they seem to have similar measures and represent constellations in alignment on a common date: September 23, 10500 B.C.

Apparently, it could be a message from the past to the future. Will we discover it next September 23?
